Used in conjunction with certain medical or surgical techniques, it can complement these techniques to help provide a speedy and complication-free return to normal activity. Physiotherapy can be useful in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of injuries, disease processes, and other conditions. Physical therapy includes the provision of services in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by the process of ageing or that of injury or disease. Full and functional movement is at the heart of what it means to be healthy.
